A new beginning

Hello, welcome to my blog.
I used to run and to some I used to run a lot Used to regularly run 30-40 miles a week getting up to 50mpw. The most I ever did was 70 on one occasion.
As I said to some it was a lot but to many runners out there that would be normal.

Like I said I used to run a lot. Not any more.

I work nights and now i am older I struggle a bit with getting enough sleep and be fully rested. Its not easy as you get older. So not running and eating rubbish food the weight has piled on.Today marked the day where I weighed the most I ever did

154.5 lbs Just over the 11 stone mark I never wanted to get that heavy I never wanted to get over 10 stone.
Back when I was running properly I was about 9 stone 2lb and that was alright weight in my 30s I have been lighter in my 20s but it wouldn't look good. You still have to look healthy and not scrawny looking

So this blog has to purposes the hopefully motivation to get back there running and eventually back racing, I was never fast but enjoyed the race element. And by running hopefully will help lose some weight healthily
But also to monitor my personal level how well I slept and all that

Will plan to set little goals and work in 6 week blocks, they say you can begin to notice improvements after 6 weeks after you try something new.
